December already… how did that happen? So, since it’s Monday 1st December, I’m swapping the usual weekly card for a monthly Tarot reading as we step into the final chapter of 2025. (I've had to blur The World's 'bits' as social media doesn't allow anything offensive )
The Story the Tarot Cards Are Telling Us In December 2025
I intentionally pulled three Major Arcana cards — as they represent big cycles and deeper inner work. This trio tells a beautifully appropriate end-of-year story!
STRENGTH calls us to face and complete the last challenges of this current cycle.
THE WORLD shows that a major chapter is closing and a new one is waiting to begin.
THE HERMIT invites us to pause, go inward, and consciously prepare for what's ahead
The Cards:
It's that final push to get you ready to step into a new phase with clarity rather than with loose ends. We can also take The World literally here: the end of 2025 and the gateway into 2026 - all of which closes 2025 with intention and leads us into 2026 with purpose!!
What do we need to know? - Card One - STRENGTH
This card highlights inner power, courage, and emotional resilience. It reminds us that before we cross into a new chapter, there are things we need to finish, confront, or tidy up. Strength encourages you to take the brave and maybe not-so-easy road — but the one that ultimately brings peace and satisfaction.

Where do I need to 'up' my energy?
What strength do I need to develop?
What may challenge us? Card Two - THE WORD
This card is the culmination of a major life cycle and the beginning of a fresh, harmonious one. It often relates to planned transitions — retirement, moving home, relationship milestones, children leaving the nest, career shifts, or personal achievements. If you’re not aware of any major changes yet, stay open! The festive season often brings announcements that reshape the coming year.
Questions to consider:
Am I ready for the next cycle?
What preparations do I need to make?
What guidance will help? - Card Three - THE HERMIT
This card is a perfect energy for December as The Hermit encourages us to take time for reflection, solitude, and deeper spiritual insight. Look back on 2025 with curiosity rather than judgement. If on reflection you’re already content with where you are, The Hermit gives you a nod of recognition: Congratulations — take time to celebrate!
