CARD OF THE WEEK

For me, the Four of Wands is asking us to acknowledge what we've achieved so far, take a breath and consider what you'd like to come next. That could relate to life in general, or perhaps there's a particular project, ambition or situation that immediately springs to mind. (I know exactly what it means for me! 🙈)

He's back!! This week we've got he Knight of Swords again - he last made an appearance just a few weeks ago! Yikes! ⚔️ The energy I feel from this Knight of Swords is far more intense and confrontational than the one that faced us just a few weeks ago! Back then, our Knight encouraged us to go forward even if we didn't feel completely qualified or experienced for the task ahead. This time, looking at this particular card, I hear something closer to a battle cry!

We've a Minor Arcana card this week, and one that looks very busy. That's quite appropriate here, because intense is exactly how I see the Nine of Wands! So why is that energy feeling so intense?

I don't use this deck on a day to day basis, but was drawn to it just now. And I've noticed that this King of Swords isn't ready to fight. He has the armour, a shield, the chain of office and a long, sharp sword - but it's pointing down, not upwards ready to take action.

Another Knight! This final week of July, we've once again drawn the energy of a Knight. As always, the cards don't tell us what will happen. Instead, they invite us to pause, reflect and ask ourselves the questions that matter.

This week we've drawn one of the Court Cards – the Knight of Swords. Questions to Consider Have I been overthinking instead of taking action? Am I waiting until I feel completely ready? Is it time to stop analysing and simply begin?
