The Story the Tarot Cards Are Telling Us This Week

Another Knight! This final week of July, we've once again drawn the energy of a Knight.

Last week's Knight of Swords encouraged us to be brave, take action and see what happens. This week, although we still have that youthful enthusiasm, we're moving away from the head and into the heart.

The Knight of Cups is guided by his emotions, intuition and imagination. He reminds us that not every decision has to be made logically. Sometimes we intuitively know what's right for us, even if we can't quite explain why.

This Knight is usually warm, charming and persuasive. He can inspire us to express our feelings, be creative or approach a situation with kindness rather than confrontation.

However - sometimes the Knight of Cups appears as a gentle reminder to look beyond beautiful words. Is someone promising more than they can realistically deliver? Are they telling us exactly what we'd like to hear, only to disappear when something else catches their attention?

(That doesn't necessarily relate to romance. It could be a friend, family member, colleague or anyone whose actions aren't quite matching their words.)

Or perhaps the Knight of Cups is asking you to embrace some of his energy this week.

Could you be a little more open about your feelings?

Could you trust your intuition a little more?

Or perhaps allow yourself to be more playful, creative or compassionate?

As always, the cards don't tell us what will happen. Instead, they invite us to pause, reflect and ask ourselves the questions that matter.
