THE HIGH PRIESTESS. This week, there may be times when the sensible, logical answer doesn't quite sit comfortably with us. We might not even be able to explain why. But rather than ignoring that feeling, perhaps we should explore it intuitively. Our intuition won't necessarily tell us exactly what to do, but it can help us recognise what feels right, what doesn't. The High Priestess is here to remind us to trust our gut.

THE FOOL. Well what about this! Last week our card was the very last of the 22 Major Arcana, The World, symbolising the completion of a life cycle. This week we have The Fool, which is the card that begins the Major Arcana (being number 0), and a wonderfully apt signal that as one cycle ends, another is ready to begin.

THE WORLD - the Card for this week is one of the 22 Major Arcana cards. Not only that, but it is the final card of the Majors, usually indicating the end of a cycle. I feel that The World is asking us to recognise where something in our own life has reached, or is approaching, its natural conclusion.

For me, Sixes encourage us to keep going. We may have moved through some emotional disruption or uncertainty, but we're not at the end of the journey yet. There's still more to do. This card feels more about accepting what has already happened, settling, and allowing things to develop.

You'll no doubt be aware what's taking up your mind space at the moment. It might be with regards to working out how to tackle a potentially difficult conversation or situation, or figuring out the next step in business or career, or perhaps preparing for an exam or interview. Whatever it is, our Four of Swords is saying create some breathing space so that you can go in with a clear head.

Our three cards are: The Page of Pentacles, The Star, Death. My first impression is that the key to a successful and productive September may lie with taking time to think about our personal goals and what makes us tick. Plan to clear the decks of anything that's slowing or stopping this from happening. If we keep vigilant and keen to learn, new paths to our goals could open up this month.

He's back!! This week we've got he Knight of Swords again - he last made an appearance just a few weeks ago! Yikes! ⚔️ The energy I feel from this Knight of Swords is far more intense and confrontational than the one that faced us just a few weeks ago! Back then, our Knight encouraged us to go forward even if we didn't feel completely qualified or experienced for the task ahead. This time, looking at this particular card, I hear something closer to a battle cry!

We've a Minor Arcana card this week, and one that looks very busy. That's quite appropriate here, because intense is exactly how I see the Nine of Wands! So why is that energy feeling so intense?

I don't use this deck on a day to day basis, but was drawn to it just now. And I've noticed that this King of Swords isn't ready to fight. He has the armour, a shield, the chain of office and a long, sharp sword - but it's pointing down, not upwards ready to take action.
